Promotions & Discounts Policy

This policy sets out the terms that apply to all promotions, discount codes, sales and special offers made available through Chaulk Co Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order using a promotion or discount, you agree to these terms. This policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Sale.
1. General
1.1 All promotions are subject to availability and may be varied, suspended or withdrawn at any time without notice, except where doing so would affect an order you have already placed and we have accepted.
1.2 Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions apply only to full-priced items, exclude gift cards and shipping charges, and are available only while stock lasts.
1.3 Discounts and promotional codes have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged, redeemed or refunded for cash or store credit.
1.4 Where a promotion has an end date or time, orders must be completed and payment received before that time. Items held in a cart or wishlist are not reserved and do not secure the promotional price.
2. "Buy 3, Get 1 Free" and similar multi-buy offers
2.1 The free item must be added to your cart. To receive the free item, you must add all four (4) qualifying items to your cart before completing checkout. The discount is applied automatically at checkout once the qualifying items are in your cart.
2.2 We do not add free items after an order is placed. If your order is placed with fewer than the required number of items in the cart, the free item will not be supplied and will not be shipped separately or retrospectively. This is because we cannot determine your preferred size, colour, variant or style on your behalf, and we do not make assumptions about your selection.
2.3 The free item will be the lowest-priced qualifying item in your cart, unless the promotion states otherwise.
2.4 Orders that do not meet the full qualifying criteria at the time of checkout are not eligible for the offer, and we are not obliged to issue a refund, credit or replacement in respect of an omitted free item.
2.5 If you realise immediately after checkout that you have not added your free item, please contact us at orders@chaulkco.com.au as soon as possible. We will do our best to help where the order has not yet been picked or dispatched, but we cannot guarantee that changes can be made.
3. Discounts do not stack
3.1 Only one discount, promotion or offer may be applied to any single order or item. Discounts and promotions cannot be combined, stacked or used together.
3.2 By way of example only, a percentage discount (such as 15% off) cannot be used in conjunction with a "Buy 3, Get 1 Free" offer, a sitewide sale, a bundle price, or another promotional code.
3.3 Where more than one offer could apply, our system will generally apply the single offer that provides the greatest saving to you. Where it does not, and you would have received a greater benefit under a different available offer, please contact us, and we will review it in good faith.
3.4 Promotional codes cannot be applied to items already reduced in price, unless expressly stated.
4. Returns and refunds on promotional orders
4.1 Where you return an item that formed part of a multi-buy or bundle offer, and the return means the order no longer meets the qualifying criteria, we may either require the free or discounted item to be returned as well, or deduct the value of the promotional benefit from your refund.
4.2 Refunds on discounted items are calculated on the price actually paid, not the recommended retail or pre-discount price.
4.3 Nothing in this clause limits your rights under clause 6.
5. Errors, misuse and cancellation
5.1 We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order where a promotion has been applied in error, where a code has been obtained or used improperly, or where there is a genuine and obvious pricing or promotional error. If we do so, we will notify you and refund any amount paid in full.
5.2 We may limit the number of times a promotional code can be used per customer, per household, or per order.
6. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
6.1 Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure or damaged item. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
6.2 These consumer guarantees apply to discounted, promotional and free items in the same way they apply to full-priced items.
6.3 Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
6.4 Our change-of-mind returns policy is offered in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and is set out in our Returns Policy.
